What it is

FortisOS is an enterprise banking software platform in development, with Wealth Management inside its system boundary. It is designed to help institutions define who may act, what they may do, and when access should expire.

Who it is for

  • Financial institutions shaping controlled digital operations
  • Banking teams evaluating transaction and account-access architecture
  • Security, compliance, operations, and technology leaders
  • Wealth-management teams working inside an institution-controlled platform

The problem

Banking activity crosses customers, tellers, devices, channels, accounts, and approval roles. Broad or persistent access can make accountability difficult. FortisOS is being designed around narrower authorization windows, visible decision points, and auditable responsibility.

Core capabilities

A defined operating scope.

Capabilities are presented at the current maturity level and remain subject to the deployed implementation.

  1. 01Protected transaction architecture
  2. 02Controlled account-access windows
  3. 03Transaction-scoped customer and teller authorization
  4. 04ATM security concepts
  5. 05Trusted-contact protection concepts
  6. 06Device-bound and biometric authorization direction

  9. 09Security-AI research direction

How AI participates

Prepare the work.

Planned security AI may help identify unusual context, assemble relevant signals, and prepare activity for review. It is not presented as an autonomous authority or a guarantee against fraud.

Human / governance role

Keep authority visible.

Institutions define policy, approve access models, investigate exceptions, and retain responsibility for transactions and customer outcomes.

Local-first / privacy

Control the boundary.

The intended posture is local-first and institution-controlled, with external connectivity introduced only where selected services require it.

How it connects

One room in a governed platform.

FortisOS anchors the Banking cluster. Trust Department remains a standalone room; Jaylar Bank is a separate private-individual banking offering.

Current development status

Public capability boundary

FortisOS is software under development. This page does not represent a bank charter, deposit-taking authority, FDIC insurance, or a guarantee that loss or unauthorized activity cannot occur.
